Joy Goodsell of the convenor of the NSW Coalition Against Domestic Violence launched Braidwood's Domestic Violence Help card on Friday at the National Theatre. It was well attended by locals, councillors Les Hart and Catherine Moore and the member for Monaro, Steve Whan. The committee was very pleased so many men attended the launch.
So far this year there has been 14 deaths from domestic violence in NSW alone. The cards will be distributed to relevent services in Braidwood.
