 Emergency Service Fundraiser for Scouts

Emergency Service Fundraiser for Scouts

20 Jul, 2006 01:45 PM
The Braidwood Scout Group presently has 48 members and they are participating in a lot of outdoor activities such as camping, canoeing, bushwalking and filed trips away.

Unfortunately, a lot of the ares that the scouts go to do not have facilities to meet their needs.

The Braidwood Scouts are asking for help from the community and businesses in the form of donations to purchase a catering trailer, hopefully by this December. The trailer will be owned and housed by the Braidwood scouts at their hall. The new catering trailer would also be made available to the Emergency Services, Braidwood Schools, Lions and Apex Clubs and the Masonic Lodge should they require its use.

This project will be run by the Braidwood Emergency Services in conjunction with the Braidwood Scouts. It would be appreciated if you could help us with this very worthwhile project. For further information please contact Neville Marsden on 4842 2034 (AH)
