Extra money for gymnasium

The Minister for education and Training Carmel Tebbutt has approved an additional $60,000 grant for Braidwood Central School to complete the fitout of the new gymnasium.

The project has been jointly funded by the Department of Education and Training, Palerang Council, the Commonwealth Department of Transport and Regional Services, the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation, Braidwood Parents and Citizens Association and Braidwood Apex and other community donations.

The project is expected to be completed in the next few weeks with the opening date yet to be decided.
