Landmark fundraising for MPS

17 Aug, 2006 01:34 PM
$2100 was raised the Landmark Daniel Walker raffle of a mini motor bike for the annual Trade Day Raffle. Last week Richard Walker from Landmark handed over the cheque to Judy Coe, Narbethong Hostel Care Coordinator. The money is to be spent on some nursing mothers furniture for the baby health room in the newly refurbished old nurses quarters. So far, the community has raised over $58,000 towards this project, on top of the $30,000 grant from State Government. There have also been hundreds of hours of voluntary labour to help transform the building. The official opening of the building will be in November.
