Peter Andrews is well known across Australia for the concept of Natural Sequence Farming (NSF) - a rural landscape management technique that enables productivity to be restored to watercourses and their catchments.
The local community is invited to learn more about NSF and its application to the local catchment at a field day to be held at Araluen on Wednesday, 28 June.
There will be an opportunity to hear Peter Andrews talk about the challenges of our environment and how NSF can address these issues. This will be followed by a walk along Telowar Creek to see how NSF techniques might be applied.
The event is being funded through the National Landcare Program and is free. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
If you are interested in attending the field day please contact Rebecca Cole or David Rush at Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority on (02) 4842 2594 to register as places will be limited.
