ANNUAL ANTIQUE FAIR

The Antique Fair will again be held in the National Theatre and as a result of many requests will open on Friday evening 29 September from 5PM until 9PM in addition to Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9AM until 5PM.

The inclusion of Friday evening will allow those traveling to the coast for the long weekend to enjoy a stroll down our historic main street, a leisurely hour in the theatre selecting collectables as well as the opportunity to enjoy coffee or a meal in Braidwood's fine eating establishments. Braidwood's famous Len Mutton's Drapery Store will remain open until 7PM and an exhibition by the well known fibre artist Helen Beale will officially open at 6PM at the Altenburg Gallery. This exhibition is titled "Entwined Fibres - Woven Tribal Fantasies" and covers a broad spectrum of artistic genre.

This year's Antique Fair will offer a greater number of stalls with a wider range of antique and collectable items. Entry is by a gold coin donation to support Braidwood's Hospital. Margaret Jones and Mary Mathias - convenors
