The Spring Racing Carnival has started, and that means that the countdown is on for the Melbourne Cup and for the 2006 Country Energy Yabby Races.
After a very successful event in 2005, the Yabby Races will be held again this year, on Saturday November 4th, at 7.15pm, at the St Bede's Hall. This year's Country Energy Yabby Races will be a fantastic evening, at only $15 a ticket.
The evening will include not only Yabby Races, but also wine and olive tasting, an auction of quality items, champagne and finger food, as well as a lucky door prize and lots of great fun!
The program of races will include events ranging from the Maiden event to the 2006 Country Energy Cup. A new event this year, will be the Allcomers Stakes, in which you can enter your own yabby. Bring along your own yabby decorated in racing colours for your chance at fame and glory!
