Yet there are a multitude of local events, which are not advertised there.

Volunteers staff the Visitor Information Centre. They need to be well informed about what is happening in and around Braidwood.

They cannot know everything and the service loses credibility if they are unable to give correct information on all local events.

So, why aren't our local organisations promoting their events?

It is so simple to contact or leave a poster at the Information Office.

Anyone with spare time can join the volunteers.

For its full potential the VIC needs to be open every day. Many hands make light work.

It is not a difficult job and a very interesting and rewarding experience.
