The State Electoral Office has provided Council with details of the timetable which will apply in relation to the by-election in ‘A’ Ward, following the resignation of Councillor Ellis.
Council is currently advertising for enrolments on the Residential Roll, Non-Residential Roll and Roll of Occupiers and Ratepaying Lessees.
An advertisement calling for nominations will be inserted in the Tallaganda Times on Wednesday January 9, 2002 with nominations closing at 5pm on Wednesday January 16, 2002.
Nomination day is Friday January 18, 2002.
Pre-poll voting will be conducted in the RTA Office at the rear of Council Offices and commence on Monday February 4, 2002.
Polling day is Saturday February 16, 2002.
