An evening for Braidwood business people

An evening for Braidwood business people

15 Aug, 2001 07:59 AM
The Braidwood and District Chamber of Commerce will host an evening designed to cater to the requirements of Braidwood business people on Wednesday August 22 at the Grapevine CafÈ, commencing at 6pm.

This is the second gathering of three organisations, the Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Tallaganda and the Business and Professional Women’s Group, the first one being hosted by the Business Women’s Group in May.

The cost of the evening will be $5 for light refreshments.

The evening will be the first official duty of the newly elected president of the Chamber of Commerce, Jill McLeod, who has a special interest in encouraging all businesses to network with each other as well as informing the Chamber of their expectations of that organisation. The evening will also provide an opportunity for the Chamber of Commerce to launch its Excellence in Business Award.

The guest speaker will be Debby Ferguson who will talk about E-Council and there will be time for discussion on matters relating to the Economic Development Plan and the main street.

The Chamber of Commerce hopes the evening will prove to be helpful, informative and enjoyable. Anyone interested in coming, but has not received an invitation, will be most welcome. Please contact Jill McLeod on 4842 2626.
