Tallaganda Christian Fellowship

‘Braidwood’s own community church (est 1994)’

“A Real Live Fellowship of people of the Holy Spirit” Come praise and worship the Heavenly Father.

Regular services are held at The Centre, Braidwood Hospital Complex, Monkittee Street at 5.30pm each Sunday combining praise, worship, Holy Communion, fellowship and prayer.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 NIV

Letting go of someone you love and putting them in the hands of God our loving Heavenly Father can be one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. (I know from personal experience when I lost my wife and two children in a car smash many years ago, then my mother, father and kid sister all in period of six months.)

I read this poem recently and shared it at Fellowship.

As children bring their broken toys with tears for us to mend; I brought my broken dreams to God because He is my friend. But then instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone; I hung around and tried to help in many ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried “Lord how can you be so slow?”

“My child” He said in a loving voice “What could I do ... you never did let the problem go”!

To let go of someone does not mean you stop caring; it just means you can not do it for them.

In other words, letting go is just letting God do it His way ... please give it a try!

All enquiries and prayers please telephone 4847 5045 any time, mobile 0427 475 045 or e-mail: aussiechaplain@hotmail.com
