As part of the Australia Day celebrations for 2002, the Tallaganda Shire, in conjunction with the Australia Day Council (NSW), will be presenting awards for the Shire area to the Citizen of the Year, Junior Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year, Outstanding Sportsperson, Cultural Achiever, and Community Services Award.
Nominations are currently being called and forms are available from the Shire Office.
All nominations must be received by 2pm on Friday January 11, 2002.
