Following a meeting of Braidwood Residents Association (BRASS) last Thursday, the community group is calling a public meeting for residents and local councillors. The meeting has been called for Wednesday 29th August at 7.30pm at the National Theatre.
BRASS representatives met with the Mayor and Palerang Council Engineer, Gordon Cunningham last Tuesday week to tour the Bungendore and Captains Flat Sewerage Treatment Plants, to find out more about the specific problems with the Braidwood Plant and to understand more about what Council is proposing to build.
BRASS are hoping that as many ratepayers as possible will attend and express their opinion on the charges for the new sewerage treatment plant.
