Christoph came to Braidwood as a silversmith in 1974 and established Studio Altenburg which became the creative hub of the town. He also founded the Iron Corroboree, which drew iron workers and artists from around the word.
A funeral will be held in Braidwood today at St Bedes Church at 10.30am.
