As we go to press, the cast of Cinder Tales are doing their final preparations for this week's opening night, Saturday 24th at 7.30pm.
Cinder Tales is a vibrant knitting together of broad comedy, song, magical creatures and maternal soul, suspended over the story of (Cinder) Ella. The production features 14 community members (with some surprise casting!) plus a segment by 18 children from St. Bede's Primary School. The director is Jane Ahlquist, with original costumes by Jenny Stahl, lighting by Bill Waterhouse and sound Brendan Koivu.
Performances are: Sat. Oct 24th at 7.30pm, Sun 25th at 3pm, Friday 30th at 11am and Sat Oct 31st at 7.30pm. Tickets available at the Altenburg Gallery, Tel: 4842 2384, $25/20/10 (child 7-12 years). Cinder Tales is supported by the Australia Business Arts Foundation (AbaF).
