The fifth Annual Member's Exhibition of Braidwood Regional Arts Group (BRAG) opened to considerable acclaim last Thursday. As usual the standard of entry was high and many accomplished and delightful works were displayed. The show was opened by Kirsty Altenburg who drew attention to Braidwood's artistic heritage going back almost forty years, with BRAG as descendent.
Thanking Kirsty, BRAG's President Gill Burke acknowledged this artistic lineage and the links maintained with the early 'Braidwood Group'. Gill also warmly thanked Antony Davies and Andrew Gow for their generous loan of the Tidmarsh Barn which provided such a fine venue. At this point The Three Rabbis arrived to give a hilariously funny disquisition on art, nude women, the meaning of life and everything.
