Results of the Far South Coast Rugby Union Zone competition round 7 played on Saturday June 2 are as follows:

Vincentia (25) def Broulee (15) points.

Bateman’s Bay (60) def Bay 2 (0) points.

Both Braidwood and Bermagui-Cobargo had byes.

A general Bye occurs on Saturday June 9. However on the day at Hanging Rock Oval, Bateman’s Bay there will be rugby games played to celebrate the Bateman’s Bay Rugby club’s 20th Anniversary. From 12.30pm there will be Golden Oldies games played and at 2.30pm the main event of the day will kick off, the Far South Coast Zone Representative Team will play against an invitational side.

The Zone Team has representatives from all clubs with the following players chosen: from Bateman’s Bay are Dallas Smith, Greg Humphries, John Maher, Kirk Hargreaves, Simon Trewin, Paul Brown and James Gifford. Representing Bermagui-Cobarqo are Craig Lewis, Warren Marshall, David Ireland and Adam Brunton. Andrew Rose and Craig Coe will be representing Braidwood. From Broulee Tony Ward, Lee Cooper, Daniel Nott, Jason Ryan, David Gwyne and Shane Clarke, and Shane

Rodgers, Jeff Boardman, Peter Brown, Nathaniel Lee, Cameron Bendle, Tom Hewson and Gary Howarth will be representing Vincentia.

Round 8 of the Far South Coast Rugby Union Zone will be played on Saturday June 16 with the following games:

Bermagui-Cobargo verses Bay 2 at Cobargo oval.

Braidwood verses Vincentia at Braidwood.

Broulee verses Bateman’s Bay at Broulee.

Competition points up to and including Round 7 are: Vincentia 31; Bateman’s Bay 27; Braidwood 23; Broulee 17; Bermagui-Cobargo 12; Bay (2) 9.
