Farewell to Pat Coffey

17 Feb, 2010 09:41 AM
A farewell from Braidwood for Pat Coffey was held at the Braidwood Servicemen's Club on Saturday 5th February. Pat is leaving Braidwood to live in a Canberra retirement facility in Campbell, ACT.

120 people attended with speeches from David Cargill, Pring Raynolds, David Lowry and John Bunn.

The Coffey's have been a prominent Braidwood family for a century, and Pat is the oldest ex student of St Bede's Primary School. As such Pat was called on to open the new library building at the school last December. Also see Bowls News page 8.
