Firies breakfast the Station

17 Sep, 2008 12:20 PM
Come along and enjoy a free hot breakfast, meet your local firefighters, inspect our station and appliances and join in with interactive displays of the skills and equipment of Braidwood's Firefighters. Learn about fire safety and how to use a fire extinguisher, experience extrication from an accident damaged car, see a rescue from our well, learn how to climb a rope, operate our air bags and apply splints and bandages. Everyone is encouraged to come along and see what your Braidwood Fire Brigade can do for you and our community.

If you are interested in becoming a Retained Firefighter you are specially encouraged to attend as this is a great opportunity to see what skills you will be able to learn and put into practice.

If you would like more information contact Captain Geoff Bunn on 0429 812 393 or Deputy Captain Steven Hockey on 0429 422 286.
