One of the members of the Beez is a close friend of Braidwood's own Dave Anthony, they go back a long way. We are very privileged to have a group of this calibre entertaining us in Braidwood.

The Beez have recently performed in Tamworth and various Folk Festivals. Their zany slant on popular songs had the Folk Club's younger members really enjoying their music. They also entertained the older members with songs from AC/DC and Queen!

A great night was had by all - despite the small numbers because of the wonderful 'beyond blue' presentation at the Servicemen's Club.

And as a double measure, please come along next Thursday night 22/2/07, to the Anglican Hall, to see and hear the wonderfully talented Martin Pearson play and sing! Martin had asked for the opportunity to sing in Braidwood this month as he holds us in a very special place in his heart. Martin is a master of lyrics and also has a great instinct for pertinent songs. His latest album, Songs of Sedition and Swing, by Martin Pearson and the MP3s, showcases his many talents. A great night is promised at the Braidwood Folk Club, held at the Anglican Hall, Wilson Street Braidwood. There will be a light supper provided at a cost of $3. Please bring your own glasses and other utensils as the Club doesn't hire these from the Anglican Church. We start at 7.30pm and the cost is $10 (members) and $15 (non-members). A great night is promised.
