Visible signs of progress on the Braidwood Central School Gymnasium are taking place as a crane lowered roof sections in place last week.
The plans have been slightly altered by the builders so that using a wooden frame, rather than steel, it has been possible to add a large viewing are as a mezzanine level. This will be capable of holding 180 people, at no extra cost to the construction.
