Paula Duncan urges the community to help fight Australia’s silent killer. “I have lost two people to suicide and I, like yourself, never imagined that I would be confronted by such a tragedy. Yet it happened. And, having attended a LifeForce workshop, I feel that I would have been better equipped to deal with the situations if I had the knowledge that I have now. Please help us to reduce the suicide rate by educating yourselves and others and attending a suicide prevention seminar.” Braidwood CWA, in conjunction with LifeForce, is organising a three hour suicide prevention seminar for the benefit of all members of the community at the National Theatre on Thursday, April 19, 2001 at 7pm, $5 per adult, $2.50 youth concession.
