Holiday Activities for kids

18 Apr, 2001 09:50 AM
It is not too late to join the program of holiday activities organised by the Council’s Child and Family Resources Committee. All activities are supervised by trained adults - who are also nice people, eager to give their time to help out - and subsidies are available for those who need assistance to attend.Brochures with details are available in the PO, the Video shop, supermarkets and other businesses around town, and we would prefer that you phoned Shelley Turner on 4842 1012 to let us know you are coming. But if you decide at the last minute, just turn up at the time and place indicated (make sure you have a permission note from your parents) to see if there is still space, for the activity you want to try:

For 0-4 year olds with Mum and or Dad

A Day at the Beach: $10 per family. Thursday April 26. Family Fund Day in Ryrie Park: (free), Bring lunch. 10am-2pm Sunday April 22.

Art, Craft, Drama and Dance Day at BCS Hall: $10 per person or $15 per family. Bring lunch, drinks, snacks and old clothes. 10am-3pm (you can attend morning or afternoon only if you wish), Thursday April 19.
