Independent agents merge

18 Jan, 2007 12:12 PM
Shoemark Real Estate has recently expanded it's market presence in the district by merging with Braidwood Real Estate. Anthony Atkinson from the latter, will continue with his livestock business as Braidwood Agencies, as well as acting as a fourth real estate agent for the Shoemark team.

The merge has seen the key web addresses of braidwoodrealestate.com and braidwood.com.au transferred to the Shoemark business, and has seen an increase of over 1000 visits in the last month.

In coming months, the Shoemark business will move down Wallace Street to new premises at 112, next to Braidwood Real Estate's old office.

Denver Shoemark says "the new location will give us a better street presence, being closer to the local bakery and eateries."

The new premises will offer our clients a more professional space including a conference room for meetings, and 21st century technology for virtual property tours without leaving the comfort of the office.

Shoemark Real Estate was established in 1983 by Phil and Penny Shoemark, and has grown with son Denver joining in 1999, and Shelley Buchanan in 2005.

Denver says that "after an extensive marketing program over the last 18 months, targeting Sydney and the Southern highlands markets, Shoemark's branding has become recognisable to a much wider audience."

"The heritage listing has become a great point of interest for Australian and international clients, and prices have remained firm with steady growth, especially on rural properties" said Denver.

The Shoemark team are looking forward to a exciting year with the move 'downtown'.
