The annual Iron Corroboree was held for the twenty first time last week. Probably the least publicized event on Braidwood's calendar, the corroboree is a get together of artists, craftspeople and interested folk, some from far afield, who come to the property of Christoph Altenburg, to create metalworks and sculpture. The largely word of mouth event, draws some highly skilled metalworkers and jewelers, as well as amateurs to the 'open studio' situation.
