BRAIDWOOD SHOW SATURDAY 6TH MARCH
The 135th Braidwood Show will be held this Saturday with a wide range of attractions for all the family.
Ring events start at 9am, with horse events, show jumping, pony club events and the Grand Parade with Miss Show Girl coming after Lunch.
There are pet competitions with everything from 'The Pet with the Longest Tail' to 'Pet with the Cleanest Teeth' or 'The Best Pet Chook.'
The Pavillion will be packed with Vegetables & Fruit, Preserves, Pickles & Sauces, Cakes, Bread, Flowers, Needlework, Arts and Handcrafts.
Outdoor display will include the ever popular Vintage Engines & Vehicles, The Snake Man Demonstration, Climbing Wall, Trade Displays, Side Shows, Yabbie Races, and Children's patting paddock, Foot Races start at 1.30pm.
This year there'll be 3 Legged Races, Sack Race, Toss the Gum Boot, Passing the Footy, Dog & Master Wall Climbing, Tug-o-war and Bale stacking.
In the Woodchop Arena there'll be the Chain Saw Competition, Cross Cut Saw Races and Block Busting Competitions.
Full Membership to the Braidwood Show Society is $25 for adults, which includes a guest ticket, and $15 for Single Membership and $10 for Juniors.
Admission is Adults $10, Family $25, Concession card holders $7, Children 6 - 14 $5, Children under 6 free. A free shuttle bus runs from Braidwood Post Office to the Showground departing 10.00am, 12.00noon, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
General entries close with the Secretary at 10.30am on Friday 5th March.
Exhibitors are not permitted to collect exhibits before 4.30pm on Show Day.
