With 20 per cent of votes still to be counted, sitting member Mike Kelly has edged ahead in preferences, in a result poised on a knife’s edge.
Dr Kelly leads by around 1,500 votes and a margin of just over two per cent, but that margin is closer to eight per cent with preferences distributed.
