The field day was organised after a lot of support was shown for the formation of the Upper Shoalhaven Chapter of the Natural Sequence Association.
The Association's aims are to promote the ideas of Peter Andrews about landscape, bio-diversity and hydrology. Popularised by his appearance on Australian Story and subsequent book "Back from the Brink", Andrews' ideas have been adopted by many local farmers.
Those attending were able to see the work done on the property over the last 8 years. When the Shoalhaven stopped flowing over Summer, Martin's gully continued to flow.
