A new tea room called ‘Poppies on Wallace’ has opened at 123 Wallace Street. Michelle Grant has opened the new business which specialised in novel cake ‘pops’. The small cakes on sticks originated in the USA, and Michelle’s daughter brought the idea to Canberra. Poppies on Wallace also sells a range of sweets things, cut sandwiches, coffee, tea and tea accessories and will cater for ‘High Tea’ parties for children and adults.
The rooms will be open from Wednesdays to Sundays.
