Postcard from Kathmandu

Stephanie were sponsored on the walk by people in Braidwood and Canberra. The money raised (around $3,000) is going towards helping support the children with food, clothing, health care, education and repairs to their home. Stephanie says that this small family-run charity (Dharmik Australia) is so hands-on and its honesty and wholehearted interest in the wellbeing of the children and the hardworking didis (Nepali name for Aunty or carer of the children) really touched our hearts.

Every single dollar donated is making a huge difference to the quality of these children's lives, so thankyou to all those that donated to this wonderful cause'. For more information on the charity go to www.dharmik.org
