Public comment sought on Alcohol Free Zone proposal

29 Jul, 2009 04:00 AM
Palerang Council has stated that it will make its decision regarding the alcohol free zone with or without public input so now is the time to make a stand on ownership of the town's streets.

A public meeting is to be organised before the close of submissions to allow all interested parties to come along and discuss the issues in an open forum.

The Department of Local Government conducted an 'Evaluation of Alcohol Free Zones in NSW' and the Final Report is available on the website at http://www.dlg.nsw.gov.au
