Quality Week this year is from October 22-26. Southern Area Health Service, in conjunction with NSW Health is using Quality Week to promote the Quality Improvement processes taking place in each of its sites.
Quality in health care is about doing the right thing, the first time, in the right way, at the right time.
Braidwood MPS has an active Quality Improvement Program in which all staff members are encouraged to participate. Meetings are held monthly and we look at the right things we do well and the areas where we can improve.
Health Service Manager, Virginia Cater says Quality is about delivering the best possible care. Quality Week provides all opportunity for staff and the local community to focus on our achievements, while reviewing and planning on ways to further improve the services provided to the community. We need to ensure that we constantly review and improve what we do. The staff at Braidwood MPS are committed to doing this.
Braidwood MPS has a dedicated staff who continually strive to improve the delivery of care to the Braidwood community.
If you call in at the hospital during Quality Week, please take time to see the Quality Week display located on the wall near Physiotherapy.
