 Saleyard audit a success

Saleyard audit a success

18 Dec, 2008 01:16 PM
* Correct documentation accompanying the loads and

* Complete identification of every head of cattle bound for sale.

The compliance with the regulations was, in the main, very good. There were only a couple of documentation defects, such as using one NVD to cover more than one load of cattle, but these were quickly rectified after a warning from the Police.

There was one load of particular interest to the Police.

The cattle producers and agents who use the Braidwood Saleyards are to be commended for their diligence in complying with the movement and NLIS requirements.

Producers are reminded to take the necessary steps to maintain this high level of compliance. There could be another audit soon.
