 Smiling face in all weather

Smiling face in all weather

28 Jul, 2009 11:48 AM
Lynette has become a cheery sight for Nerriga locals who travel regularly on the road. A traffic escort is provided to guide motorists through the roadworks and Lynette easily strikes up conversation with the waiting drivers explaining the holdups.

Jenny Heffernan from Nerriga says “Lynette deserves a medal in this weather.”

While manning the signals Lynette has set herself up with a small gas stove and cooks hot food for herself and other workers.

Employed by D & D Traffic Management who is contracted by NACE, Lynette travels up from the coast each day to start at 6am.
