Braidwood’s talented music students Aalia Stahlwebb and Joelle Collard along with their music teacher at Braidwood Central School, Graeme McCutcheon will be touring the north coast of NSW with the Southern Stars Performing Ensemble this week.
Joelle on saxophone and Aalia on keyboard and percussion have won their place in the Southern Stars Performing Ensemble after being chosen from amongst the best musically talented, singing and dancing public school students from schools as far south as Eden and north as Wollongong.
Graeme is also part of the troupe and his talents and skills have played a major part in the band’s great sound and entertaining performances through out the year with a
major concert in Nowra last August 11 at the St George Basin Country Club as well as performances at many schools in the Nowra area on previous tours this year. The band will be visiting primary schools through out the Port Macquarie area and entertaining the students. This is the band’s last performances for the year and they are to be congratulated on being such talented and skilled students. A huge thank you must go to you Graeme for your generous effort and voluntary time in turning a bunch of teenagers into an amazing big band sound.
