What is the Tiered Learning Space?
The Tiered Learning Space (TLS) is a lecture-style classroom situated in the high school. It’s a great space, but has no seating or desks, making it hard for students to use. With a shortage of teaching space in the school, especially for senior students, we need to transform the TLS into a useful and attractive classroom.
The TLS has also recently been fitted out as a ‘connected classroom’ with an interactive whiteboard and videao conferencing facilities. BCS is one of the first public schools in NSW to have access to this technology. But without seats, even this great resource can’t be used effectively.
With the addition of 30 new lecture-style seats and refurbishment of the room, the TLS will be transformed into a high quality teaching facility. It will be available for use by high school and primary students and as a small lecture theatre by the Braidwood community.
Sponsor a seat!
This is an ideal opportunity to support the education goals of Braidwood Central School in an important and lasting way. We need to raise enough funds to buy 30 lecture chairs with writing tablets to be fitted in the TLS. The chairs have been sourced, trialled and costed at $165 each – all we need now is your support.
By sponsoring a seat you’ll be helping to turn this space into a great learning environment. All sponsors will be acknowledged for posterity on an honour roll which will be displayed on the wall of the TLS.
Please show your support for the school and sponsor a seat in the TLS.
