Supreme champion of Spring

Virginia Hooker won the Supreme Champion Daffodil at the annual Anglican Ladies Daffodil Day Fair in Ryrie Park on Saturday.

Her daffodil entry was an unusual soft pastel peach colour with a frilly trumpet. Singer Martin Bowland from Canberra entertained the crowds.

The Raffles giant for $500 open order at Nomchongs was won by Tiffany Royds,

The Rhododendron was won by Helen Baradley and second was Brian McDonald.

The Grocery raffle was won by Normam Webb. Children's cupcakes first prize was won by Edward Horan second was Ben and Isabelle Merrimen. Childrens biscuits was won by Adelaide Etcell. James Flack won, Kimberley Bandon and Max Evan won prizes in the art competition. Berry McCauliffe won a load of wood. Zelma McKie won the sponge cake competition. The bottle of whisky was won by Clare Gowen.
