The Archie Braidwood Show will be open at the National Theatre over the weekend of September 22-23 from 10am to 4pm.
A getting-to-know-the-other-half-of -the-community project, many of the creators have met their subjects for the first time, whilst others have got to see familiar faces in a new light.
To add to our show of faces students from St Bedes, under the guidance of Pip Creasey, will be displaying their recent efforts in portraiture. Their exhibition of botanic drawings at Bunyip Jungle was excellent.
You can have your portrait sketched on the spot by talented local artist, Thomas Bonin, and children can occupy themselves colouring masks to take home or hang in the show.
Concurrently with an informal opening on Saturday, there will be a wine tasting between 2pm and 4pm organised by Braidwood 5 Star Foodmarket and featuring McGuigan wines.
Then on Sunday September 23 the Braidwood Bowerbirds will be showing off some of their favourite things at the Collectors Show between 10am and 4pm.
Light refreshments will be served over the weekend by ladies of the Hospital Auxiliary.
This is a fundraising weekend for the National Theatre and Hospital Auxiliary so come and join us, just for the fun of it.
