Pharmacist Doug Smith said he was “proud of Melissa’s achievement.”
The 26 contestants were judged over a full day including product knowledge testing.
Melissa will now represent NSW/ACT at the Australian Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Competition in Queensland in October. This competition will include making speeches in front of around 500 people and more product knowledge testing with 20 judges involved over three days.
