 Vote for a Braidwood boy

Vote for a Braidwood boy

10 May, 2007 02:03 PM
Thomas Bonin, ex-Braidwood Central School and Canberra School of Art needs your support now. Thomas has entered "Comic Idol", an international competition for Comic/graphic novels inspired by the Music Idol series. Artists must submit a story outline, character profiles and a sketch of each of the main characters.

Thomas has written a story of heroism, betrayal and demonic love inspired by Japanese folk tales and martial arts films with illustrations owing more to Japanese woodblocks than to the man-ga style expected in modern Japanese stories. He needs your vote now to progress to the next stage of the competition and, maybe, get his work published in America.

Voting for contestants is done on line at www.dimestoreproductions/Kensuke. html If you want to vote you will need to register which is free. Voting is now open until 13/05/2007. Vote by clicking the official vote box under the last of Thomas's pictures. Once you are registered, you vote by putting a "yes" in the quick response box at the bottom of the forum. Even if you do not want to vote, check out the website to see Thomas's work as well as that of other contestants. You can also check Thomas's personal website at www.tombonin.com. This website was built by Tom's sister Céline who is studying web design in Melbourne.
