Soccer reports from Majors Creek
01 Sep 10 | The Braidwood Junior Soccer Club's inaugural visit to Majors Creek was a great success with a touch of Spring in the air a beautiful day greeted the round 14 action. The Majors Creek locals did a great job of feeding the hundreds of people there to watch some high scoring games.
Bears up in first semi
01 Sep 10 | The Braidwood Servicemen's Club rugby league team defeated Goulburn Exchange 22 points to 14 in the minor semi final held at Harden on Saturday.
Bears take on Exchange in semi-final
25 Aug 10 | The Braidwood Servicemen's Bears line up against the Goulburn Exchange Rabbitohs next Saturday at Harden at 1.00pm after the results of the last round of the competition over the weekend.
Redbacks' season is over
25 Aug 10 | The Braidwood Redbacks played their last game for the year on Saturday after being knocked out of the South Coast competition.
25 Aug 10 | The Braidwood Junior Soccer Club is taking its round 14 action this weekend to Majors Creek and we should have some very entertaining games to be played on the new venue.
18 Aug 10 | The Braidwood Servicemen's Club Bears wrapped up 4th place on the competition ladder with a hard fought 24-16 victory over the West Belconnen Warriors.
Schoolboy League at Dubbo
18 Aug 10 | I should have tweaked that something was amiss when two not one, of our league players hurt their ankles after just 15 minutes in the caravan park. Follow that with an urgent trip to Dubbo hospital for X-rays, a phone call at 9pm from the Country Rugby League to confirm a change of venue from Apex Oval to a smaller council ground, together with a change of opponent from that who we prepared, should have set some alarm bells ringing.
Redbacks find form at home
18 Aug 10 | The Braidwood Redbacks played their last game of the regular season on Saturday against the Batemans Bay Boars and came away from it with mixed results.
Soccer reports - Round 13
18 Aug 10 | It was a cool day for the round 13 action in the local football season. There were some outstanding games of football with plenty of close score lines and the occasional goal fest to thrill the big crowds.
JUNIOR REDBACKS REPORT
18 Aug 10 | U12's The Redbacks scored 41 unanswered points in the minor semi final on Friday night against the Goulburn Waratahs. Joel Clarke, Angus Sherriff and Forbes Corby each bagging two tries and Ben Howard scoring one. Ben converted one try with Joel also kicking two conversions. This puts the U12's in the Grand Final next week against the Goulburn Brumbies.
Bears down in a pearler
12 Aug 10 | The Braidwood Servicemen's Club Bears put it to competition favourites Binalong on Saturday going down 28-24 in a tight one.
12 Aug 10 | There were some bemused, amused, relieved and disappointed golfers awaiting the results of last Saturday's monthly medal. The amused lot wondered why they had played better golf in the previous week's four club event than they did with their full set of clubs.

12 Aug 10 | The Braidwood Redbacks travelled down to Bermagui on Saturday and suffered a heart breaking loss.
12 Aug 10 | As the 2010 Braidwood football season comes closer to the final series the matches that are being played are becoming more exciting and intense. Some brilliant teamwork is on display in each division and some of the results are showing that regardless of your position on the ladder, if you play well as a team, then anyone can win!

04 Aug 10 | A mild morning greeted the round 11 action in the Braidwood soccer competitions with some very entertaining games played. There were plenty of goals as most teams are developing a great understanding with each other and playing some attractive football which equals exciting viewing.

30 Jul 10 | The Ray White sponsored Braidwood Men's Open was played, in what some believe, to be the most conducive weather for good golf this month. Paradoxically the scores did not reflect the weather with tricky pin placements playing havoc with locals and visitors alike.
