Week 2 of Auskick saw a great turn out of over 28 kids come along for some fun and fitness at the Rec. We are very fortunate to have John Dyball, the southern region AFL Development Manager, present at our Auskick sessions for the next 8 weeks and the kids really love his loud entertaining manner. This week Auskick started with some "Rob the nest" and "Poison Ball" games, followed by some marking, handballing and gathering skills. A big thankyou to those parents who got involved and helped. The session finished with a junior and senior short game of AFL which saw some great shots of goal and plenty of action. The Braidwood Rising Star awards this week went to Mitchell Roberts in the Juniors and Chris Rajapakshe in the seniors.
