The game started slowly as the 2 teams battled it out in the rucks and mauls along with some great defence from both sides. Angus Sherriff managed to score a breakaway try, running 2/3 of the field to put the ball down in the corner. The Bay came back with 2 tries of their own.
Braidwood came out hard in the second half with one of the best passages of play seen all season. Through a series of mauls delivering fast ball and quick passes, Ben Howard scored the equaliser. Braidwood soon scored another try through Angus Sherriff to take the lead and held on til the whistle blew.
Ben Howard was the stand out player for the week.
This week you have the opportunity to see these young stars play in Braidwood on Friday evening. The U8's are at 5.45pm, the U10's at 6pm and the U16's at 6.30 at the rec ground.
