The Australian Stock Horse Nationals were held at Camden from the 12th-20th of May 2007. The Nationals have drawn 726 competitors from across Australia.
Brittney McGlone's stock horse mare ' Secret Downs Kelly's Secret' (Buttons), co owned with her brother and a good friend Kelly Govan had a fantastic show, winning the Champion ridden mare, and then went on to win the Supreme Ridden Hack horse of the show. Over 300 horses competed in their own category at the event from which 8 are awarded Supreme.
With her other horse 'Dongara Power Repeat', Brittney also won the ASHLA, Australian Stock Horse Lady's Association class which is judged on the horse, rider, equipment and the manners and paces of the horse. This horse also won Reserve Champion 4 year old Hack horse.
Brittney, who attends Braidwood Central School, is now getting ready to study hard for her HSC.
