Far South Coast Rugby Union has announced their Representative Team to play Monaro ACT on Saturday of the June Long Weekend for the ACT/Southern Rugby Cup (Sat 9th June 2007).
Competition leaders Broulee and Braidwood have been rewarded with good early competition form to provide a combined total of 12 players for the 22 man squad. The team appears well balanced with a number of new players being included for the first time. John Griffiths, a former Wallaby will again Coach the team.
There are general byes last and this weekend to allow the players to train and play.
Braidwood players selected for the representative side are Reece Coble, Tim Morrison, Craig Coe, Gary Haig, Nick Black, Brendan Maher, and Isaac Allen.
The rest of the team comprises, Chris Allen and Brendon Tyrell from Bega, David Fleming and Andrew Fleming from Batemans Bay, Steve Betteridge, Tom Hardman Rob Hudson from Narooma, Jason Mcdermott, Andrew Gardner, John Doyle Kent Oldrey, Terry Lee, Daniel Leth, Charlie Nye, and Warren Potts from Broulee.
The GAME is on Saturday 9th June 2007 at 2.30 p.m. at ANU Oval, Canberra.
The Redbacks next game is away at Narooma on the 16th June.
