The Braidwood Junior Soccer Club has been having a successful year so far with only 4 rounds left of the season.
The Junior competition has seen some exciting games. In the 13 rounds there has been 134 goals scored which makes for entertaining stuff to watch.
The Junior division has no finals football and it is first past the post are the premiers. The Storm Hawks have been the team to beat but the Incredibles are only 3 points or 1 win behind them. With four rounds to go these 2 teams will be playing each other twice but the Power Rangers and Dragon Riders are both starting to score some goals and could have a defining say in who takes the premiership at the end of the season!
The Junior Ladder after 13 rounds:, Storm Hawks 29 points, The Incredibles 26, Dragon Riders 11 and Power Rangers 8.
The Intermediates competition has been a very tight one. The Villains are the leaders of the pack with an almost impenetrable defence only conceding the 1 goal all season. The Bushrangers have had a much better middle part of the season and the Scallywags have just got a key player back and have racked up a good win and could be a danger coming into the finals. The Rascals have had a lot of close games and have the potential to cause an upset in the next couple of rounds. I can see possibly some extra time being played in these finals!
The Intermediates Ladder after 13 rounds; Villains 35, Rascals 17, Bushrangers 13, and Scallywags 8.
The Sub-Youth competition has been extremely close with the King Browns still yet to lose a game. The Death Adders have been hot and cold and sit in second spot on the ladder but with more wins than the King Browns. In the 13 rounds there has been 12 draws which shows just how close this division is! The Taipans have possibly created the most shots on goal but their defence is outstanding which puts them in a comfortable position coming into the finals and there is no doubt they will make it hard for any team in coming rounds to score! The Cobras have suffered a bit from injury and illness and are yet to win a game but could spring a surprise in what is bound to be an exciting final series in a couple of weeks time!
The Sub-Youth Ladder after 13 rounds: King Browns 23, Death Adders 22, Taipans 15, Cobras 6.
The Youth competition has seen some very attractive football and the Bull Sharks have lead the way but the Hammerheads aren't too far behind. So far 119 goals in 26 games makes for some great spectator viewing! The Gummy Sharks have had some great wins but some big losses and consistency will see them be a threat in the finals. The Tiger Sharks suffered a few injuries but have the potential to cause a definite upset or two before the seasons over!
Youth Ladder after 13 rounds; Bull Sharks29, Hammerheads 23, Gummy Sharks16, and Tiger Sharks 7.
