Redbacks romp home

BRAIDWOOD LEAD 29 - 5 AT HALFTIME AND SHOWED NO MERCY FRO THE VISITORS IN THE SECOND HALF.

Firstly an apology. The match details in last weeks paper were false as the South Coast sent the fixtures.

We were in fact playing Bega at home.

It was our first match in a number of weeks due to byes and weather and that showed in the first half. Too many mistakes at the breakdown would have cost us against stronger teams. Thankfully we were comfortably ahead due to the pace and skill of the back three Reece, Ferret and Time and a brilliant penalty by Brendan.

The second half saw a much tighter display by the forwards highlighted by tries to the two props Sam and Tim Morrison. The game ended with a brilliant try to Adam Hacker. Final score 59-10.

Lots more work to do as we play competition leader Broulee at Broulee this week. Our points went to ; 3 Reece Coble, 2 Tim Morrison/ Daniel Vardanega, 1 Adam Hacker. Players player Sam Lyons.

A huge thank you to our Amy and Damien for running the sponsors day and of co9urse thank you to our sponsors; Royal Mail Hotel, MH O'Rourke Funerals, Braidwood Earth Moving, Co-ordinated constructions, Daniel Walker Landmark, Funktions Catering, Braidwood Vetinerary Clinic, Tallaganda Service Station, Braidwood Foodworks and the Bendigo Bank.
