Scouts at Camp Cottermouth

30 Nov, 2006 11:53 AM
1st Braidwood Cub Scouts attended the Black Range District Cub Scout Camp at Cottermouth scout camp in the ACT on the 18-19 of November. On the camp there were plenty of activities for the cubs like a treasure hunt, archery, obstacle course, building of a flagpole, craft, canoeing and first aid. At the end of the camp 2 of Braidwood's cubs received their Grey Wolf Awards together with 4 other cubs from the district. The Grey Wolf Award is the highest award a cub can earn. The cub needs to achieve 4 level 2 badges, one special interest badge, attend an overnight camp, meet with cubs from other packs and plan their own hike that they lead. Congratulations to Brooke O'Connell and Kynan Campbell on achieving this award.
