SUB-JUNIORS

A fun filled goal fest of a game was played out between the Greens and Reds and the improvement of their skills is starting to show with close to 15 goals being scored by plenty of players. A lot of the kids are staying more focused on the field and I'm sure we have a few little stars in amongst them all. Big performances on the day from Thomas Barrington, Dylan Cairns, Zoe Cargill, Tyler Croxon, Darcy Lyons who came back from a head clash, Cody, Riley Nicholson, Maxx Bigg, Elle Bunn, Jessica Watkins-Sully, Darcy Gilbert, Logan Lo and Jonathon Coe.

JUNIORS

Gemfish v Catfish

The Goldfish were a handful for the Gemfish for most of the game. Their goalie valiantly defended an onslaught from Josh Story, with some spectacular saves. Congratulations to Jasmine Potter who had her best game for the season! Calluam Doyle's end to end goal run was a highlight in this exciting game. Well done to both teams!! Best for the Gemfish were Josh Story, Jasmine Potter and Calluam Doyle and best for the Goldfish were Fynn Walker, Andrew Barr and Jessie Lo.

Final score Gemfish 5 Goldfish 0

Catfish v Clownfish

No report was handed in!!

INTERMEDIATES

Bombers v Jets

No report handed in but the result I think was Jets 3 Bombers 0

Spitfires v Roulettes

The closest game of the year played at an amazing pace from start to finish! Great attacking runs by both teams were stopped by some brilliant goal keeping and solid defence. All players on both teams should be awarded 3 points!! Best for the Spitfires were Jack Asimus, Tim Corcoran and Angus Sherriff and best for the Roulettes were Lachlan Ramm, Hannah Cargill and Emily Lavis.

Final score Spitfires 0 Roulettes 0

SENIORS

Pink Panthers v White Pointers

A slow start to a cold morning. The White Pointers were down a few players but had a solid first half to take a 0-0 scoreline to the break. But the Pink Panthers were on fire in the second half with Dylan Crisp scoring a Hat-trick of goals! Bets for the Pink Panthers were Cameron Pont, Shane Klomp and Elisabeth Farley and best for the White Pointers were John Sharp, Pip Sherriff and Alex Royds.

Final score Pink Panthers 3 White Pointers 0

Black Sheep v Blue Heelers

Another superb game for the Black Sheep with no result. A bit more luck and it will be look out in the finals. The Blue Heelers however had some stand out players with Patrick Willding and Sam McGlone having strong games in attack and Kristina Holcman and Helen De Costa having even stronger games in defence! The difference on the day was 2 gaols to Sam McGlone with one of them just before the final whistle. Best for the Blue Heelers were Sam McGlone, Kristina Holcman and Helen De Costa and best for the Black Sheep were Scott Birkett, Brooke O'Connell and Sarah Hemler.

Final score Blue Heelers 2 Black Sheep 0

YOUTH

The Yankees were out played in this game as the Redsox dominated by a good passing game. The 8 a side game left plenty of room for the twinkle toes of Harley Williams to dribble in 2 goals. The Yankees created a couple of good chances but great keeping from Thomas Royds kept them out. Best for the Redsox were Troy Harrison, Kaitlyn Harrison and Victoria Laurie and best for the Yankees were Bob McDougall, Zac Faichney and Lewis Kain.

Final score Redsox 2 Yankees 0

Giants v Dodgers

The Dodgers were missing a few players and as hard as they tried the Giants seemed to have all the answers in an entertaining game. This goal fest ended with the Giants winning by 1 in the end. Best for the Giants were Jonathon Crisp, Josh Liversidge and Brianna Pont and best for the Dodgers were Will Richards Chris Corcoran and Tamara Roberts.

Final score Giants 4 Dodgers 3
