A beautiful Spring day greeted the round 14 action in the Braidwood Soccer season with some thoroughly entertaining games played.
Thanks to our referees on the day with Nathan Oldfield, James Gribble, Natasha Liversidge, Kelly Liversidge, Nick Fry and Anthony Stanley all doing a great job.
Sub-Juniors
Plenty of keen little subbies showed some great skills in practice and put on a great game that see-sawed form end to end and on the scoreboard. The Blacks had a few more players and the Blues were up for the challenge with some help with the coach. The Blacks raced away to a 2 nil lead after Harrison Wall and Leroy Campbell-Davys scored early but the Blues Jake Waters scored twice to keep the score tied. The Blacks Louise Story and Isabella Hindmarsh played well chasing the ball for Isabella to score and give the blacks the lead. Lachlan Hindmarsh had his best game of the year for the Blues and helped them level the scores again. Holly Franz scored a hat-trick for the Blues but the Blacks Leroy Campbell-Davys and Harrison Wall both scored again to keep them in the game and the final score finished 6-6. Alice and Fergus Tooth, Jai Bun, Bonnie Park, Angus and Emily Stuart-Camenzuli and Daisy Millpark all had good moments on the mini field during the session.

This was a brilliant game played by both teams!
